Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How close are you to King's Island & The Beach Waterpark?

A: Only 8 miles. (15-20 minute drive)

Q: Do you provide transportation to the Amusement Parks?

A: No.  If you are in a Motor Home and didn't bring a car with you, there is RV and bus parking at Kings Island or there is a Enterprise Car Rental in Lebanon. There is no Taxi service in Lebanon.  Click here to visit Enterprise Rent a Car Website

Q: Do I need a reservation?

A: 100% YES!  Because of our proximity to so many great locations and attractions we stay booked all year long.  Make sure you give us a call and reserve your site as soon as you make your travel plans.  We recomend you reserve no matter what time of year, just to avoid any headaches.  Reservations are held with a 1 night campsite deposit.

Q: Why do you charge visitor fees?

A: Most campers fail to understand why a campground owner requires their visitors to pay a fee for entering and using the facilities. Due to the extra liability and utility expenses and coupled with the additional strain placed on the grounds and facilities, visitors are required to pay a visitor’s fee.

Q: Can I send a check or money order through the mail instead of reserving a site with a credit card.

A: No, we can only make a reservation over the telephone with a major credit card , we can only take cash, check, or money order at our office.

Q: Why do I have to be checked in by 10pm?

A: There are quite a few answers to this question, but the #1 reason is for the comfort of our other guests.  Few things are as annoying to campers as other people around them setting up camp in the middle of the night.  Please make plans to arrive at the campground before 10pm, this way you can check in, and be at your campsite by the time quiet hours begin.  Office hours vary in Spring, Fall, and Winter, check with us for details.

Q: Since I have to be checked in by 10pm, do you lock the gate at night?

A: No, we ask that everyone is checked in and set up before our quiet hours begin at 10pm.  This way everyone gets a full night of rest without being bothered by others setting up camp late at night.  After you have checked in and set up camp, you can come and go as you please, just be respectful of the other guests.

Q:Where are you located?

A: We are on the northwest side of Historic Lebanon, Oh., on St Rt. 123 (Franklin Rd.).  We are about 30 minutes from both downtown Cincinnati & Dayton, & just minutes from both I-71 & I-75.  Click here to visit our directions page

Q: Can I bring my own Firewood?

A: No. Bringing your own firewood also brings unwanted guests!  The Emerald Ash Borer, an insect that infests and KILLS our trees, it has become a real threat to our local forests.  We ask that absolutely no one, even locals, bring in their own loose firewood.  Packaged firewood purchased in Warren county is ok to bring in, you can also bring in NON-TREATED  scrap lumber that does not have any nails or staples in it.  If you are caught moving loose firewood it could result in heavy fines imposed by the state!

  • Treated lumber is used in decks and other outdoor applications, it contains pesticides and chemicals that are dangerous when burned!  Sometimes it's hard to tell if its treated or not, so if you are not sure, don't use it for a campfire, it's very dangerous!

  • Nails and staples do not burn, so they cause a lot of flat tires and can puncture through shoes, which could send you or another guest to the hospital!

Q: Where Can I get Firewood?

A: We do sell firewood here at the campground, we buy it through an Ohio approved firewood dealer, and re-sell it to you at a reasonable price.  You do not have to buy it from us, you could purchase it from Kroger or another retailer in our area, as long as it is packaged firewood bought in Warren County.  We do keep our firewood price competive with other retailers.

Q: Can I put up a tent along side my RV for my kids?

A: Yes, but only on certain campsites.  Please let us know when you make your reservations that you would like one of these sites, as long as one is available, we will be glad to hold one for you. All tent sites may have up to 2 tents.

Q: Where can I go fishing?

A: There is no place to fish in the campground, but there are several places in the area that you can go wet a line.  Ceasar's Creek Lake, The Little Miami River, & Cowan Lake are great places to go.

Q: How long can I stay?

A: The maximum stay is 6 months, we provide a limited amount of sites available for monthly rental.  The cabin and tent sites have a 1 week maximum stay.

Q: Do you have "seasonal camping"

A: No, we do not have any sites that you can put a camper on for the summer months and pay a single fee.  All our campsites are for nightly, weekly, and monthly use only.
